Beach, Water or a Larger Residence?

Velaa lists one-bedroom beach pool villas and sunrise or sunset water pool villas. Its Beach Pool House and Ocean Pool House have two bedrooms. Several private residences offer four bedrooms, giving larger groups another layout to compare.

The Romantic Residence is a separate one-bedroom option reached only by boat. Consider how this access would fit your plans for dining and activities on the main island.

Travelling with Children

Velaa welcomes younger guests through Lha Velaa Kids Club. The official programme describes activities including crafts, cooking, indoor climbing and water play. This is a family accommodation option rather than an adults-only resort.

Ask the resort about age eligibility, supervision, opening times and any activity or childcare fees. Discuss pool and water access when selecting a villa for young children.

Airport Transfers: Allow for the Whole Journey

The resort describes a roughly 45-minute seaplane journey from Velana International Airport, with commercial or private-charter options. This flight time does not establish the total connection time after your international arrival.

For arrivals by private jet at Maafaru, the official page also lists onward seaplane and yacht options. Confirm which airport and transfer service your quote actually covers.

Is Velaa All-Inclusive?

Do not treat the resort name or a luxury description as evidence that every cost is covered. Request the inclusions for the specific offer you select. An individual villa reservation also differs from the separate island-buyout option described on the official accommodation page.
