The Balmoral
The Balmoral's official address is 1 Princes Street. Rocco Forte describes the hotel as a landmark at the meeting point of Edinburgh's Old and New Towns, with rooms, junior suites and suites listed as separate accommodation choices.
Choose the right room
Choose a category by its confirmed outlook and layout. The hotel's city setting and clock-tower exterior do not establish that every room has an Edinburgh Castle view.
A detail worth checking
How can I secure the view I want?
Check the full category description, then ask the hotel to confirm any specific outlook request. Review whether a request is guaranteed or remains subject to allocation.
Plan with confidence
How is this guide put together?
This is a focused accommodation spotlight based on the official sources linked above, checked on 14 September 2026. It is not an exhaustive hotel directory, a guest-review ranking or a report of a personal stay. Facilities and offers can change; reconfirm details for your dates.
Where can I check prices and availability?
Use the official hotel link and enter your dates, guest count and room preference. Compare the final total and cancellation conditions rather than an undated headline price. LuxStay does not take payment or confirm reservations on this page.
Does the photograph show the room I will receive?
The caption identifies the photo and its source. Exterior, destination, villa and public-space photographs do not guarantee a specific room view or layout. Match your reservation to the category’s own gallery and floor plan.
